Community Code of Conduct

DEATH 2 DATING
CODE OF CONDUCT
Community Standards for Respect, Fairness, Messaging, Reviews & Safety
OUR CORE PRINCIPLE
Attention can be paid for. Respect cannot. Paying to send or boost a message never creates an obligation for another user to be interested, to share personal information, to continue a conversation, or to agree to a date.
Effective Date: September 10, 2026
Applies to all Death 2 Dating users and use of the platform
1. PURPOSE AND COMMUNITY EXPECTATIONS
Death 2 Dating is designed to make dating more direct while recognizing that another person’s attention and time have value. The service is free to use for browsing and participation; users pay only when they choose to send a message to another user. This Code of Conduct explains the standards that apply when using profiles, paid messages, boosted messages, replies, ratings, reviews, reporting tools, and other community features.
Every user is expected to act in good faith, communicate respectfully, respect boundaries, and use ratings and reviews honestly. The fact that a message was paid for does not reduce another user’s right to say no, decline interest, ignore a conversation, set boundaries, or stop communicating.
2. HOW THE DEATH 2 DATING MESSAGE MODEL WORKS
Understanding the platform model is important because several conduct rules are tied directly to messaging and ratings.
· Using Death 2 Dating is free unless a user chooses to send a paid message or use another paid feature.
· When a paid message is sent, the recipient is eligible to receive 50% of the total message cost.
· One-half of the recipient’s share is earned when the recipient reads the message; the remaining half is earned when the recipient sends a reply, subject to platform rules and payment processing.
· Other users may rate the quality of replies they receive.
· A sender may pay to boost a message so that it appears higher in the recipient’s inbox.
A BOOST IS PRIORITY, NOT ENTITLEMENT
Boosting a message changes its placement in an inbox. It does not guarantee that the recipient will read it, reply to it, like the sender, continue the conversation, or agree to meet.
3. RESPECT, CONSENT AND PERSONAL BOUNDARIES
Users must respect the autonomy and boundaries of every other person on the platform. A user may decline interest, end a conversation, refuse to share contact information, refuse to meet, or stop responding at any time.
· Do not pressure, threaten, shame, insult, or repeatedly contact someone who has indicated they are not interested.
· Do not use money spent on a message or boost as leverage to demand attention, affection, a response, personal information, sexual content, or an in-person meeting.
· Do not imply that a recipient “owes” you a reply because you paid to contact them.
· Respect blocks, conversation closures, stated limits, and requests to stop communicating.
· Sexual comments or requests must be appropriate to the context and must stop immediately when they are unwelcome.
A rejection is not misconduct. A lack of romantic interest is not misconduct. Choosing not to continue a conversation is not misconduct.
4. HONEST AND AUTHENTIC PROFILES
Profiles should accurately represent the person using the account. Users may present themselves positively, but they may not materially misrepresent who they are or impersonate someone else.
· Use photos and profile information that you have the right to use.
· Do not impersonate another person, public figure, business, or fictitious identity in order to deceive users.
· Do not materially misrepresent age, identity, relationship status, location, intentions, or other information where the misrepresentation is intended to manipulate another user.
· Do not create fake profiles or coordinated accounts to generate messages, ratings, payouts, or other financial benefits.
· Automated or AI-assisted content must not be used to deceive another user about whether they are communicating with a real person when platform rules require a human user profile.
5. PAID MESSAGING: SENDER RESPONSIBILITIES
Paying to initiate a conversation gives the sender the ability to deliver a message through the platform. It does not purchase the recipient’s interest or consent.
· Send messages in good faith and for a legitimate dating or social purpose consistent with the platform.
· Do not send abusive, threatening, discriminatory, sexually coercive, fraudulent, or intentionally deceptive messages.
· Do not repeatedly purchase or boost messages in an effort to overwhelm a recipient who has not shown interest.
· Do not threaten a poor rating, complaint, chargeback, or public embarrassment to pressure someone into replying or continuing a conversation.
· Do not attempt to bypass platform safeguards, payment rules, blocks, or messaging limits by using multiple accounts.
6. PAID REPLIES: RECIPIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Recipients are compensated because reading and replying require attention and effort. A user who chooses to reply should make a reasonable good-faith effort to send a genuine response.
· Do not send meaningless, intentionally empty, copied, automated, or deceptive replies solely to trigger the reply portion of the payment.
· Do not operate fake or coordinated accounts for the purpose of generating message revenue.
· Do not mislead senders about romantic interest solely to encourage repeated paid messages.
· A short reply can still be legitimate when it clearly and respectfully communicates the recipient’s answer, including a polite decline.
· Recipients are never required to express romantic interest merely because they received compensation for reading or replying.
QUALITY DOES NOT MEAN ROMANTIC INTEREST
A thoughtful “thank you, but I’m not interested” can be a high-quality reply. Ratings should measure the quality and conduct of the response, not whether it produced the romantic outcome the sender hoped for.
7. BOOSTED MESSAGES
A boosted message may receive greater visibility by moving higher in a recipient’s inbox. Users must not treat boosting as a guarantee of access or a reason to apply pressure.
· Do not repeatedly boost messages to harass or intimidate another user.
· Do not suggest that paying for a boost creates a duty to reply.
· Do not use boosting to evade blocks, reporting decisions, or other platform restrictions.
· Recipients may evaluate boosted messages using the same personal preferences and boundaries that apply to any other message.
8. FAIR RATINGS AND REVIEWS OF OTHER USERS
Ratings and reviews are intended to help the community understand the quality of interactions and replies. They must be accurate, fair, relevant, and based on what actually occurred.
RATE THE REPLY — NOT THE REJECTION
A user may not give a negative rating or negative review because another user rejected them, declined a date, declined to share a phone number or social media account, set a boundary, expressed lack of romantic interest, or chose not to continue the relationship.
8.1 What a Fair Reply Rating May Consider
· Whether the reply addressed the message in a meaningful way.
· Whether the reply was respectful and civil.
· Whether the reply was genuine rather than obviously empty, deceptive, or designed only to trigger a payout.
· Whether the reply communicated clearly, even if the answer was “no.”
· Whether the user engaged in abusive, threatening, fraudulent, or manipulative conduct in the reply.
8.2 What a Rating or Review Must NOT Be Based On
· Being rejected or told the other person is not interested.
· Not getting a date, phone number, social-media handle, photo, or other requested personal information.
· The recipient ending a conversation or setting a personal boundary.
· The recipient having different political, religious, lifestyle, relationship, or dating preferences.
· Anger that money was spent on a message or boost without receiving the desired romantic outcome.
· Retaliation for a report, block, refusal, disagreement, breakup, or other interpersonal conflict unrelated to reply quality.
8.3 Review Retaliation and Manipulation Are Prohibited
The following conduct is not acceptable and may result in removal of the rating or review and additional account action:
· Threatening a negative rating unless the other person replies, continues the conversation, agrees to meet, or provides personal information.
· Giving a deliberately false or misleading negative review because the reviewer felt rejected, embarrassed, angry, or disappointed.
· Coordinating with friends or other accounts to lower another user’s rating.
· Offering money, credits, favors, or other benefits in exchange for a positive rating.
· Using multiple accounts to inflate or damage ratings.
· Submitting reviews about characteristics or events unrelated to the actual communication being rated.
9. HARASSMENT, HATEFUL CONDUCT AND THREATS
Death 2 Dating should be a place where people can interact without intimidation or abuse. The following conduct is prohibited:
· Threats of violence, stalking, intimidation, blackmail, extortion, or coercion.
· Targeted harassment, repeated unwanted contact, or encouraging others to harass someone.
· Hateful or demeaning attacks based on protected or personal characteristics.
· Non-consensual sexual content, sexual coercion, or threats involving intimate material.
· Publishing or threatening to publish another user’s private information without permission.
· Encouraging self-harm, violence, exploitation, or illegal activity.
10. FRAUD, SCAMS AND FINANCIAL ABUSE
The payment model must not be manipulated for fraudulent gain. Users may not abuse the platform’s payment or earnings features.
· Do not create fake conversations, fake accounts, collusive arrangements, or self-dealing activity to generate earnings.
· Do not deceive users about romantic interest for the primary purpose of inducing repeated paid messages.
· Do not ask users to send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, account credentials, or other financial value as part of a scam or deceptive scheme.
· Do not engage in payment fraud, unauthorized transactions, fraudulent chargebacks, or attempts to bypass platform payment systems.
· Do not buy, sell, transfer, or rent accounts unless expressly authorized by Death 2 Dating.
11. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION
Dating conversations can involve personal and sensitive information. Users must respect the privacy of others.
· Do not post, sell, distribute, or threaten to distribute another user’s private messages, contact information, location, intimate content, or identifying information without permission, except where disclosure is reasonably necessary to report misconduct or comply with law.
· Do not pressure another user to reveal an address, workplace, phone number, financial information, passwords, or other sensitive information.
· Do not use information obtained through Death 2 Dating to stalk, harass, impersonate, or locate someone against their wishes.
12. REPORTING, BLOCKING AND GOOD-FAITH COMPLAINTS
Users are encouraged to use reporting and blocking tools when they experience conduct that may violate these standards.
· Reports should be truthful and submitted in good faith.
· Do not submit false reports as retaliation for rejection, disagreement, or a negative but fair rating.
· Do not threaten to report someone merely to pressure them into replying or changing a rating.
· A user who is blocked must not create or use another account to continue contacting the person who blocked them.
13. ENFORCEMENT
Death 2 Dating may review conduct that appears to violate this Code, the Terms of Service, payment rules, safety standards, or applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, action may include:
· A warning or educational notice.
· Removal or adjustment of ratings, reviews, profile content, or messages that violate platform rules.
· Limits on messaging, boosting, reviewing, payments, or other account features.
· Temporary suspension or permanent account termination.
· Review, withholding, reversal, or adjustment of payouts where permitted by the Terms of Service, payment rules, or law and where fraud or abuse is reasonably suspected or established.
· Referral to appropriate authorities where required by law or reasonably necessary to address serious safety concerns.
Enforcement decisions may consider the severity of the conduct, whether it was intentional, whether harm occurred, whether the conduct was repeated, and the user’s prior history on the platform.
14. FAIRNESS IN ENFORCEMENT AND REVIEW DISPUTES
Ratings and reviews can affect a user’s experience and reputation. Death 2 Dating may remove or disregard reviews that appear to be retaliatory, fraudulent, irrelevant, coordinated, abusive, or otherwise inconsistent with this Code.
Where an appeal or dispute process is available, users should explain the specific rating, review, report, payment, or enforcement action they believe should be reconsidered and provide relevant information in good faith.
15. RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER POLICIES
This Code of Conduct works together with the Death 2 Dating Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, payment rules, and other applicable platform standards. If another policy imposes a more specific requirement for a particular feature, that requirement also applies.
