Support & Help Center

Quick answers to common Death 2 Dating questions.

Need help fast?

Check the questions below first. If you still need assistance, contact us at info@antesocial.com. For immediate safety concerns, use the in-app Block and Report tools.

Getting Started

Is Death 2 Dating free to use?

Yes. You can create a profile, browse, discover people, and use the core dating experience without a subscription. You only pay when you choose to send a paid message or purchase an optional feature such as a message boost.

How old do I have to be to use Death 2 Dating?

Death 2 Dating is intended for adults age 18 and older. Users who are under 18 are not permitted to create or use an account.

Can I edit my profile after I create it?

Yes. You can update your profile information, photos, preferences, and other editable details from your account or profile settings. Keep your information accurate and do not impersonate another person.

Messaging & Charges

How much does it cost to send a message?

The app shows the current message price before you send. At the current standard price of $5 per message, Death 2 Dating keeps $2.50 and the recipient can earn up to $2.50 based on whether they read and reply to the message.

How does the recipient earn money from my message?

Using a $5 message as the example: the recipient can earn $1.25 when they read the message and another $1.25 when they send a reply, for a total possible recipient earning of $2.50.

Does paying for a message guarantee a reply?

No. Paying allows you to send the message and creates the recipient earning opportunity, but it does not require the other person to reply, continue a conversation, meet you, or show romantic interest. Boundaries and consent always come first.

What is a boosted message?

A boost is an optional paid feature that moves your message higher in the recipient’s inbox so it is easier to notice. A boost improves visibility only; it does not guarantee that the recipient will read or reply to the message.

24-Hour Refund Rules

What happens if my message is not read or replied to within 24 hours?

Using the current $5 message example, if the recipient does not read or reply within 24 hours, the sender receives $2.50 back. Death 2 Dating keeps its $2.50 platform share.

What happens if my message is read but not replied to within 24 hours?

The recipient earns $1.25 for reading the message. The sender receives the remaining $1.25 of the recipient portion back. Death 2 Dating keeps its $2.50 platform share.

What happens if the recipient reads and replies within 24 hours?

The recipient earns the full $2.50 recipient share: $1.25 for reading and $1.25 for replying. In that situation, there is no refund from the recipient portion.

When does the 24-hour period begin?

The 24-hour window begins when the paid message is sent. The app’s message status and timing controls determine whether the message qualifies for a refund.

Ratings & Reply Quality

Why can users rate replies?

Ratings are designed to help recognize thoughtful, genuine, and respectful replies. They should reflect the quality and conduct of the reply itself—not whether the conversation led to a date, match, phone number, or other desired outcome.

Can I leave a bad rating because someone rejected me?

No. A negative rating must not be used to punish someone for rejecting you, declining a date, ending a conversation, setting a boundary, or choosing not to continue romantic contact. Retaliatory or dishonest ratings may be removed and can lead to account action.

What should I consider when rating a reply?

Consider whether the reply was genuine, respectful, responsive to the message, and consistent with the Code of Conduct. Do not rate someone based on attraction, romantic compatibility, or whether they gave you the answer you wanted.

Safety, Blocking & Reporting

What should I do if another user makes me uncomfortable?

You can stop communicating at any time. Use the Block feature to prevent further contact and the Report feature to tell Death 2 Dating about harassment, threats, fraud, impersonation, inappropriate content, or other conduct that may violate our policies.

Should I ever send money directly to another user?

No. Do not send another user cash, gift cards, cryptocurrency, banking credentials, investment funds, or off-platform payments because they ask for them. Legitimate Death 2 Dating message and boost charges are handled through the platform.

What should I do before meeting someone in person?

Meet in a public place, tell a friend or family member where you are going, keep control of your own transportation, avoid sharing sensitive financial or identity information, and leave if you feel uncomfortable. Review the separate Death 2 Dating Safety Tips page for more guidance.

What if there is an immediate danger or emergency?

Death 2 Dating is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. You can also report the user to Death 2 Dating so we can review their account.

Account & Technical Help

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Use the password-reset or account-recovery option on the sign-in screen. Follow the instructions sent to the email address or other verified contact method associated with your account.

A payment or refund does not look right. What should I do?

First review the message status and transaction details in your account. If the amount still appears incorrect, contact support and include the transaction date, amount, and any relevant message or receipt information. Do not send passwords or full payment-card numbers to support.

How do I delete my account?

Use the account deletion option in your account settings when available. If you cannot access that option, contact support for assistance. Some limited records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, payment disputes, or legal obligations.

How do I report a bug or technical problem?

Contact support and include what you were trying to do, what happened, your device type, operating system, app/browser version if known, and a screenshot when helpful. Never include passwords or complete financial credentials.
